OEAS Goals in 2022
OEAS announces it goals for 2022 to include a campaign to remediate and reconcile the long term effects of the African Slave Trade and Colonialism. OEAS has entered into an agreement with a law firm to explore new ways of holding corporations and other entities financially liable for their crimes in Africa. OEAS will also continue its anti COVID campaign in Africa and is consulting with its associate members in Ambazonia, Biafra, and Cabinda regarding resolution of their long standing disputes.

The White House will eject Ethiopia from a trade program between sub-Saharan African countries and the United States over human rights violations, according to a statement Thursday. Ethiopia was found to be in violation of section 506a of the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), the statement added. The clause stipulates that eligible nations must not engage in “gross violations of internationally recognized human rights.” The move comes after a CNN investigation earlier this year. President Joe Biden formally announced the decision in a proclamation, a month after he informed Congress that he intended to terminate Ethiopia’s membership of the deal.
Cameroon Separatist Leader, Ayaba Reacts To Alleged Invasion, Attack By Ambazonians On Taraba Residents – Source: SAHARA REPORTERS
Leader of the Cameroonian separatist group, Ambazonian Governing Council, Dr Cho Ayaba has said his group was not involved in the attack that claimed lives of Nigerians in Manga village in the Takum local government area of Taraba State.
The separatist leader, however, said that the Cameroonian government was behind the attack, adding that it wants the Nigerian government to see it as the enemy.
